A few months ago, Jenn Waters, assistant publisher & digital media manager, CustomNEWS, Inc., had the opportunity to present at the ASAE 2015 Annual Meeting in Detroit.
During “Stretch Your Conference Content,” Jenn looked at the show daily as a tool for not only curating and showcasing content at your conference, but also as a way to generate content to share throughout the year.
The primary objective of a show daily has been the dissemination of news and information to onsite attendees. But a show daily is also a communications vehicle that can be shared with a wide audience to increase a conference’s ROI and also generate content to use throughout the year.
Show content has a shelf-life far longer than the conference at which it was shared. Previews and recaps of education sessions, attendee and speaker interviews, association updates and exhibitor news can be used in association publications, email newsletters, blogs and posts on social media channels.
Please check out the presentation slides to see how easy it can be to incorporate show daily content into your organization’s communication strategies. We also share examples to show you how other organizations are positioning their show daily content in association publications, conference websites and much more.
